We are hiring an Account Manager for a leading company in the Flexible Packaging industry. With over 50 years of expertise, we have established ourselves as a North American leader, supported by multiple manufacturing facilities in Montreal, Laval, Terrebonne, Toronto, Drummondville, and the United States. Join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.

We are currently looking for a dynamic and motivated Account Manager. The candidate will bring to this position his or her professional sales experience to maintain and grow assigned customers.  There will be a strong focus on attracting, developing, and closing in on new customers. It would be an asset to have an established network of relationships in industrial and specialty flexible packaging markets, as well as previous experience in this industry.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Retain and forge relationships with existing customers assigned.
• Increase sales with new and existing customers.
• Develop and maintain a customer database.
• Support the sales team in punctual needs.
• Support the Customer Service Department.
• Prospecting and calling potential new customers and identifying key decision makers.
• Develop new customer base.
• Develop and use internal and external resources at your disposal to close new opportunities.
• Participate in industry events as required.

Skills and qualifications :

• Post-secondary diploma, college, or university diploma (ideally in business, commerce or science).
• 3-5 years of sales experience.
• Knowledge of the flexible packaging industry (strong asset).
• Basic technical understanding of extrusion and converting processes (asset).
• Customer service oriented.
• Comfortable with prospecting and cold calling.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work in a CRM sales pipeline environment.
• High degree of organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Oral and written communication abilities.
• Bilingual (French and English).
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Motivated and ability to work independently and show initiative.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Possess a valid passport.
