Job description :

Our client is a company specialized in transportation, logistics, supply chain and warehousing in Canada. They are looking for two new External Sales Representatives to actively develop new customers.

Your role:

  • Customer development: Active solicitation, cold calls and frequent travel.
  • Needs assessment: On-site analysis, measurements and report writing.
  • Quotation preparation: Price calculations, customer presentation and follow-up.
  • Order management: Finalization via in-house software and supplier purchase orders.
  • Project tracking: Bid maintenance, contracts won/lost.
  • Forecasting and meetings: Preparation of monthly/annual budgets and participation in meetings.
  • Trade events: Attendance at trade shows, exhibitions and inventories.

Working hours: Monday to Friday

Job location: On the road - Greater Montreal & Montreal West area

Salary: 60k-70k/year + commission (approx. 10-15k the 1st year) & Vehicle allowance 1050$ per month

Skills and qualifications :

  • Fluent in French and English
  • A valid driver's license
  • Proven experience in B2B lead generation on the road, including prospecting and cold calling
  • Ability to demonstrate concrete examples of success in this field
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Autonomous, highly motivated and results-oriented
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
