Job description :

We are looking for a Project Director to join a dynamic and passionate team within a general contracting company based in Quebec. This multidisciplinary company, specializing in construction and engineering, has extensive experience with large-scale projects. They offer comprehensive services, ranging from project management to execution.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and oversee construction projects from design to completion
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure deadlines and budgets are met
• Manage schedules, coordinate resources to optimize efficiency
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders and provide regular updates
• Identify and resolve issues to minimize interruptions and delays
• Provide technical support on construction sites
• Serve as support and reference for project managers
• Participate in meetings with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors

Skills and qualifications :

• DEC or Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec
• 3 years of experience in a similar position
• 10 years of experience in project management
• Knowledge in heavy mechanics and estimation
• Familiarity with Dreeven software (an asset)
