Job description :

Our client is currently looking for Senior Technical Representative (Water treatment).

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the growth of chemical product sales in the water treatment market in Quebec, mainly in the greater Montreal area.
• Actively manage and develop defined sales territory.
• Work with management teams to develop strategic product and service solutions specific to customers and markets.
• Adapt and implement territory strategies to optimize growth in alignment with corporate objectives.
• Build and foster relationships through multi-level selling to key customers and influencers along the value chain.
• Provide reports and analysis on sales results, regional market trends, and competitive updates.
• Actively communicate qualitative and quantitative updates in the CRM tools.
• Provide product forecasts and consolidated sales forecasts.
• Collaborate with internal support staff to ensure the company always delivers exceptional customer service.
• Effectively contribute and maintain customer-specific information in the CRM tools.
• Other duties required.

Skills and qualifications :

• College diploma or university degree with 5 years of training in a specialized related field (i.e. chemistry, water treatment) and minimum years of experience in outside sales is required
• Experience and knowledge of the water treatment/chemical market are required
• Must possess excellent liaison skills with external/internal customers and suppliers
• Very strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently are required
• Must possess strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Must be a team player who is customer oriented
• Strong computer skills required
• Bilingualism required English/French
