Job description :
Our client, a leader in the aerospace sector, is seeking an FP&A Analyst for a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting financial evaluations for all company divisions. You will be tasked with preparing reports and providing recommendations based on your analyses. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with department heads to construct budgets
- Developing monthly analyses and reports
- Creating and maintaining financial performance indicators
- Managing and analyzing the profitability of projects and product families
- Issuing recommendations to management
- Analyzing and ensuring the monthly reliability of inventory and work-in-progress (WIP) valuation
- Calculating work-in-progress (WIP) costs
- Preparing outsourcing billing files
- Assessing financial risks and financing scenarios
- Analyzing investment projects and tenders
- Assisting in the control of accounting closures
- Implementing or optimizing the information system and ensuring data reliability
- Developing procedures and management tools
- Contributing to the improvement of the company's performance
- Conducting ad hoc analyses and leading special projects

Skills and qualifications :
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Canadian and American regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Mastery of the accounting software Acomba
- Knowledge of SAGE X3 software is an asset
- Functional bilingualism in French and English, written and spoken
