Job description :

We are recruiting, on behalf of our client, a dynamic and motivated Business Development Advisor. This key role involves contributing to the company’s growth in the food service sector by building strong client relationships and identifying new growth opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new clients using various communication channels and at networking events.
  • Present the solutions offered by our client, aimed at revaluing food surplus, and develop sustainable partnerships.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from identifying prospects to closing contracts, including presenting proposals and negotiating terms.
  • Maintain trust-based relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring their continuous satisfaction and identifying long-term opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of each project.
  • Provide regular reports on sales forecasts, activities conducted, and results achieved.
  • Actively participate in professional events and trade shows to increase company visibility and identify new prospects.
  • Stay informed on market trends and industry developments to better advise clients.

Skills and qualifications :

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the food industry or a related sector.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and identify creative solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-oriented approach.
  • Bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and rigour in tracking business activities.
