We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Montreal.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing various electrical projects and managing client relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
• Develop plans and technical specifications in compliance with applicable standards and codes
• Collaborate closely with project teams, including drafters, engineers, and technicians
• Perform cost analyses and propose optimized solutions
• Oversee projects from design to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
• Provide technical support to clients and address their specific needs
• Participate in project meetings and site visits to ensure quality and efficiency
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation

Skills and qualifications :

• Member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec) for at least 3 years.
• Technical knowledge: Quebec Building Code, Quebec Electrical Code, Hydro-Québec standards, fire alarm systems, short-circuit calculation, arc flash study, building load calculation, lighting level calculation, voltage drop calculation.
• Proficiency with software: Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Etap, Accubid, Procore.
• Experience in Quebec is required.
