We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Montreal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing various electrical projects and managing client relationships to ensure their ongoing satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Develop technical plans and specifications in compliance with current standards and codes.
• Work closely with project teams, including drafters, engineers, and technicians.
• Perform cost analyses and propose to optimize solutions.
• Oversee projects from design to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Provide technical support to clients and address their specific needs.
• Participate in project meetings and site visits to ensure quality and efficiency of work.
• Write technical reports and project documentation.

Skills and qualifications :

• Must have been a member of the OIQ for at least 3 years
• Technical knowledge: Quebec Building Code, Quebec Electrical Code; Hydro-Québec Standards; Fire alarm systems; Short-circuit calculations, arc flash study, building load calculations, lighting level calculations, voltage drop calculations
• Computer skills: Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Etap, Accubid, Procore
