Job description :

A company recognized throughout North America for the size and modernity of its production plant. A company well established right here in the Eastern Townships. Their mission is to use as few natural resources as possible and reduce the environmental impact of economic activities. This growing company is looking for an experienced electrical project manager whether an electrical technician or engineer.

Main responsibilities:

• Ability to manage all phases of a project in terms of financial and human resources, and to meet deadlines. Project from A to Z directly in the plant.
• Teamwork with other plant departments.
• Good analysis and problem-solving skills
• Prepare bids, analyze and select suppliers involved in the project.
• Plan the organization of each sector's activities
• Enter information correctly into the management system
• Manage teams of sub-contractors
• Lead meetings with the departments involved, whether administrative or technical, prioritize and validate projects under his/her responsibility.  

Skills and qualifications :

• Must have 5 years' experience in a similar position (manufacturing)
• Good planning experience with ease
• Enjoy working directly with production, interacting with it, moving around the plant frequently
• Electrical technician or electrical engineer training required
