Job description :

We are looking for an Industrial Mechanical Foremanto join a dynamic and passionate team within a general contractor based in Quebec City. This multidisciplinary company, specializing in construction and engineering, has extensive experience in large-scale projects.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance, installation, and repair of industrial mechanical equipment.
• Plan and assign tasks based on priorities and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and regulations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in collaboration with the technical team.
• Manage inventory of tools and equipment needed for operations.
• Communicate and collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members.
• Monitor work progress and prepare reports.

Skills and qualifications :

• Diploma in Industrial Mechanics or equivalent training
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial mechanics
• In-depth knowledge of industrial mechanical equipment and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans and schematics
• Strong team management and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent command of French (spoken and written)
• Experience in Quebec required
