Our client, a food processor located on the South Shore of Montreal, stands out for its commitment to providing high-quality products that meet the needs of its customers. They are currently seeking a motivated Account Manager to join their dynamic team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients to achieve sales targets.
- Maintain up-to-date client data in the CRM.
- Forecast sales and prepare impactful presentations.
- Prospect new clients in the sector using a strategic sales methodology.
- Develop a deep understanding of the competition and products.
- Identify market influences and keep track of opportunities for business growth.
- Collaborate with the sales team to optimize sales strategies.
- Participate in trade shows to enhance visibility.
- Support product development by proposing solutions based on client feedback.
- Engage in project management with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the success of initiatives.
Skills and qualifications :
- Bilingualism (English and French)
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Degree in business administration or a related field
- 5 to 7 years of experience in business development in the food ingredients sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and Power BI
- Availability for occasional travel and flexible hours for events
