Job description :

We are looking for a Mechanical Industrial Estimator to join a dynamic and passionate team within a general contractor based in Quebec. This multidisciplinary company, specializing in construction and engineering, has extensive experience with large-scale projects. It offers comprehensive services, ranging from project management to execution of works.

Responsibilities:

• Review specifications and plans to determine project equipment and material needs
• Calculate detailed costs and submit price requests to suppliers
• Analyze supplier proposals and ensure that bids are submitted on time
• Develop work schedules and ensure the project's transfer to the construction team
• Collaborate with the estimation team to optimize pricing and assist project managers
• Participate in client visits to gain a better understanding of the project and facilitate estimation
• Continuously seek out clients and partners

Skills and qualifications :

• Degree in Industrial Mechanics or equivalent experience
• 3 years of experience in estimation
• Knowledge of the industrial sector
• Expertise in heavy mechanics
• Knowledge of welding
• Knowledge of pipe installation and maintenance
