Job description :

Our client is a fast-growing Quebec-based company offering skin care, make-up, superfoods and home essentials.

They are looking for their new backend developer oriented towards the design, development and maintenance of web and mobile sites and applications to join their team.

Your role:

• Work closely with project managers, analysts and development teams.
• Participate in the design and maintenance of initiatives, ensuring code quality and efficiency.
• Contribute to the improvement of production methods and tools, integrating industry best practices.
• Set up the necessary infrastructure to accommodate future projects, while anticipating future requirements.
• Write polished, easy-to-maintain, high-performance code, regardless of the framework used.
• Provide solutions to challenges encountered, whether on the frontend or the backend.

Working hours: Monday to Friday

Job location: South Shore/Montérégie - Flexible telecommuting hybrid

Salary: 95-145k/year depending on experience

Skills and qualifications :

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with versioning tools (such as Git).
• Understanding of database management systems and backend languages such as PHP, SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Expertise in CMS development, e-Commerce, Magento 2.4.3
• Mastery of React and Next or equivalent framework for frontend and mobile development.
• Strong priority management skills and proactive spirit.
• Ability to adapt to project requirements and technological tools.
• Proven skills in teamwork, communication and meeting deadlines and quality standards.
