Job description :

We are looking for a Project Manager in Process Mechanics to join a dynamic and passionate team within a general contractor based in Montreal and Quebec. This multidisciplinary company, specializing in construction and engineering, has extensive experience in large-scale projects.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate all phases of process mechanics projects
• Design and supervise the installation of mechanical equipment and process systems for industrial sectors
• Manage the technical and administrative aspects of projects, including budgets, schedules, and quality control
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, technicians, and other professionals involved in the projects
• Conduct technical studies and optimize industrial processes
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in response to tenders
• Oversee job sites to ensure smooth execution of work
• Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and follow-up on deliverables
• Produce technical documents and detailed progress reports

Skills and qualifications :

• Technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 0 to 3 years of project management experience
• Knowledge of process mechanics (an asset)
• Fluency in French (spoken and written)
• Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (an asset)
• Knowledge of the Canadian construction market
• Experience in Quebec is required
