Job description :

We are currently looking for a Purchaser to join our team. The incumbent's main mission will be to ensure the supply of goods and services necessary for the smooth running of the company, while optimizing costs and lead times. He/she will play a key role in managing the flow of goods, from negotiation with suppliers to final delivery, ensuring a smooth and efficient supply chain.

Description of main tasks:

• Issue purchase orders and follow up until receipt of goods.
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers in order to obtain the best possible terms of cooperation.
• Monitor stocks and their availability to avoid shortages.
• Manage any disputes with carriers and suppliers, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage non-conformity returns with suppliers in collaboration with the Quality department.
• Any other related tasks to support the Procurement Department.

Skills and qualifications :

• DEC or AEC in purchasing or procurement or relevant experience
• 5 years' experience in procurement in the manufacturing sector
• Excellent knowledge of ERP systems (MRP & Inventory Management module)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office 365 suite
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Bilingualism essential (French, English) to communicate with our English-speaking suppliers
• Knowledge of supplier markets
• Demonstrate autonomy and initiative
• Negotiation skills
• Good analytical and synthesis skills
