Our client is an international project management consulting firm with over 300 consultants worldwide and more than 15 years of experience.

They enhance priority alignment, strengthen team engagement, and drive the success of large-scale projects with a positive impact in renewable energy, environmental initiatives, infrastructure, and transportation by adapting and implementing best project management practices.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time delivery and budget compliance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project objectives and action plans.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure regular and effective communication with clients and project teams.
- Provide strategic and operational guidance to optimize project processes and outcomes.
- Supervise, mentor, and train team members.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Actively participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client solution presentations.
- Identify new market opportunities and contribute to the expansion of the company’s services.
Work Location: Montréal, with potential travel depending on assignments.
Contract Type: Permanent contract

Skills and qualifications :
Qualifications:
- University degree or related education in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or other relevant fields.
- PMP certification or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of operational experience in industrial project management.
- Previous experience in consulting engineering.
- Experience in collaborative projects is an asset.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools.
- Strong professional network and verifiable references.
Desired Skills:
- Expertise in project management best practices and planning.
- In-depth knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, ADKAR, and other alternative methodologies.
- Experience in portfolio management (a plus).
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems creatively and effectively.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand client needs.
- Experience in evaluating current processes and identifying opportunities for improvement to optimize project performance.
- Ability to support companies in restructuring their organizations and processes to better address current and future challenges.
- Capacity to act as a catalyst for accelerating the implementation of best project management practices and fostering innovation.
