Job description :

A company specializing in the design and installation of temporary structures for large-scale construction projects. Known for its technical expertise and ability to deliver custom solutions, the company values innovation, precision, and teamwork.

We are seeking a structural drafter to join a dynamic and ambitious team.

Responsibilities:

• Design and draft plans for temporary structures such as scaffolding, towers, platforms, and supports
• Produce workshop drawings, technical plans, and assembly details for fabrication and installation
• Create 2D and 3D models of structures using AutoCAD and Revit
• Collaborate closely with engineers and field teams to ensure the feasibility of proposed solutions
• Verify that drawings comply with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications
• Participate in the analysis and resolution of technical challenges related to temporary structures
• Maintain meticulous documentation and organize plan revisions
• Adjust drawings as needed by clients or installation teams

Skills and qualifications :

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in building drafting or College Diploma (DEC) in civil engineering or architecture
• 3 years of experience in structural drafting
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) and knowledge of Revit (an asset)
• Ability to read and interpret plans, technical specifications, and engineering calculations
• Proficiency in French (spoken and written)
• Experience in Quebec is required
