Our client is looking for a Technical Account Manager for its Plastics/Rubber Additives division in Quebec.
Our client represents the world's leading value-added suppliers. Quebec is a strategic and fast-growing region for our client, and plays a key role in its continued growth. Their objective is to continue the development of the Plastics/Rubber Additives division.
Your main responsibilities will be to ensure regular contact with corporate customers in the manufacturing sector, and to build relationships with R&D departments, purchasing departments and key decision-makers. You will maintain relationships with additive suppliers and also target new suppliers who may use specialty additives as their own. Collaborating with customers, suppliers and the team, you will be responsible for growing, leading and implementing technical additive solutions.
Skills and qualifications :
The successful candidate must be fluent in both French and English. The Technical Account Manager must be mobile to travel throughout the province and to the U.S. for training and trade shows. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with a drive for successful product and customer growth. He/she will have technical experience in R&D or relevant experience in the plastic/rubber additives sector.
Key requirements include a minimum of 2 to 5 years' experience in plastic/rubber additive sales, a degree in chemistry or science, and a strong motivation to further develop knowledge and skills in this business area.
