Job description :

Our client, one of the giants in the food processing industry in the Province of Quebec, committed to innovating while respecting the environment, is currently seeking a dynamic Account Manager for Montreal and surrounding areas, as well as Ontario.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct competitive analysis within the territory.
  • Lead training and coaching sessions for brokers.
  • Ensure the execution of marketing initiatives with the help of partners.
  • Visit grocery banners for brand development in collaboration with representatives.
  • Manage renewals and rebates for HRI clients and distributors.
  • Organize tastings at various sales points.
  • Participate in various food trade shows.

Skills and qualifications :

  • Previous experience in business development and managing major accounts, preferably in the pet food or agri-food sector (Canada, USA).
  • Proven communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, results-oriented.
  • Proficiency in office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and management software (ERP, CRM).
