Job description :
Our client, one of the giants in the food processing industry in the Province of Quebec, committed to innovating while respecting the environment, is currently seeking a dynamic Account Manager for Montreal and surrounding areas, as well as Ontario.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct competitive analysis within the territory.
- Lead training and coaching sessions for brokers.
- Ensure the execution of marketing initiatives with the help of partners.
- Visit grocery banners for brand development in collaboration with representatives.
- Manage renewals and rebates for HRI clients and distributors.
- Organize tastings at various sales points.
- Participate in various food trade shows.
Skills and qualifications :
- Previous experience in business development and managing major accounts, preferably in the pet food or agri-food sector (Canada, USA).
- Proven communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Strong analytical skills, results-oriented.
- Proficiency in office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and management software (ERP, CRM).
