Job description :

We are a dynamic company located in Ville St-Laurent, looking for a Transportation and Logistics Coordinator.

Under the supervision of the Vice-President of Supply Chain, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Identify transportation needs, negotiate bids and select appropriate carriers.
• Define new routes to meet business requirements, while optimizing costs and maintaining high quality service.
• Audit the freight payment process to ensure accuracy and efficient processing.
• Manage carrier performance to ensure delivery of products to quality standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve carrier performance and reduce associated costs.
• Analyze industry trends and propose changes in partner selection, if necessary.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Design and implement strategies to ensure on-time and complete order delivery (OTIF) as well as delivery quality (OS&D).

Skills and qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in operations and logistics management or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Bilingualism is required (French/English).
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
