Job description :
Responsabilities:
Know and comply at all times with food quality and safety standards, occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.
Plan:
- Ensure that all operators and day laborers work optimally in accordance with their training, procedures, regulations and company policies.
Organize :
- Assign and supervise production tasks and employees according to company needs
- Ensure that equipment and resources are available to meet production objectives
Control :
- Meet deadlines
- Ensure a quality product according to established standards
- Inspect premises daily to ensure cleanliness and safety. Apply corrective measures as needed and follow up on them
- Document management and production activities (logs)
- Implement continuous improvement processes established by the company
- Ensure the creation of departmental requests in the ERP system
- Continuously seek to improve the efficiency of his/her sector
Lead :
- Welcome and integrate new staff
- Ensure and coordinate training of production employees in their tasks, safety standards and company policies
- Evaluate staff in terms of attendance, quality and attitude to work, as well as standards and objectives set
- Draw up an individual development plan with employees
- Maintain personnel files and follow up with employees
- Coach staff to improve production line efficiency
- Ensure sound and effective management of interpersonal and group conflict situations
- In the event of a major or minor workplace accident, complete an accident report, contact the health and safety committee member responsible for the current shift and participate in the investigation
- Intervene when an employee's performance is unsatisfactory and apply disciplinary measures if necessary
- Act as a technical resource for employees
Communicate :
- Inform immediate superior of production line activities and results on a daily basis
- Communicate the organization's expectations to the team in terms of attendance, quality, work attitude and production standards
- Inform each employee of the work to be done and the objectives to be achieved
- Lead efficient and satisfying team meetings
- Mobilize your team by recognizing good work and giving feedback
- Establish harmonious relations with other supervisors and departments
- Pass on relevant information from one shift to the next
Skills and qualifications :
- College diploma
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Production supervision
